Welcome to Power of Sound Meditation

In a world full of stimuli, busyness, and constant distraction, it's not always easy to truly find rest. During a Sound Meditation, you don’t have to do anything, just lie down and listen. The sound brings your body and mind back into balance in a natural, gentle way.

Here you discover what Sound Meditation truly is and what it can do for you.

What you see in the above video is resonance in water, which also occurs in your body during a Sound Meditation session. It touches where words cannot reach. In the video, you see a Himalayan singing bowl filled with water. As I gently circle the rim, vibrations arise that set the water in motion, tiny dancing droplets carried by resonance.

Our bodies are made up of about 70% water. The vibrations of sound touches deeply into your cells. They move, harmonize, and restore.

What is stuck, begins to shift.

Physical and mental tension may soften or move, without the need to understand it. Sound gently opens something within you, deeply, softly, and precisely at your own rhythm.

Sound Meditation does not work through thinking, but through feeling.
Deeper, calmer, and more powerful than you might expect.

What is Sound Meditation?

Sound Meditation is a form of deep relaxation in which your body and mind come to rest through the power of sound and vibration.

Instead of meditating in silence, you lie down comfortably while being surrounded by soothing sounds from instruments such as:

  • Himalayan singing bowls

  • Shamanic drum

  • Gong

  • Koshi chimes

  • Sansula

  • UFO drum

How do singing bowls affect your brain?

Your brain constantly emits electrical signals, known as brainwaves. These operate at different frequencies depending on your state of mind. During stress or busy moments, your brain is often in a high, active frequency called beta waves. During a Sound Meditation, your brainwaves can slow down to more peaceful rhythms like alpha (relaxation) or theta (deep relaxation). In even deeper states of rest, or during dreamless sleep, delta waves may occur. Gamma waves, on the other hand, are linked to heightened awareness and insight.

Through the sound and vibration of the singing bowls, your brain naturally tunes in to these calmer frequencies. This soothes your nervous system, reduces stress, and helps release tension mentally, emotionally, and physically.
